General
Informarion Eating a balanced, healthy and nutritious diet is important for you when breastfeeding. If considering not to breastfeed, either partially or completely, it is important to note that partial breastfeeding can reduce breast milk supply and that it may be difficult to recommence breastfeeding should you change your mind. Because the proper use of an infant formula is important for the health of your baby, infant milk formula should be used and prepared as directed. When you introduce formula your breast-milk supply will be reduced, it can be difficult to re-establish a good supply. You may breastfeed and formula-feed at the same time. Breastfeeding for as long as possible immediately before the formula-feed will ensure your baby continues to gain all the benefits of breast-milk and your milk supply is not rapidly reduced. Karicare Gold+ Formula - Infant | Follow On | Toddler
Gold+ Infant Formula (From Birth)
Ingredients:
Gold+ Follow - On (6 -12 months) At 6 months of age, the iron stores that your baby was born with begin to deplete. So it's important to ensure that your baby's diet contains foods with all the iron, vitamins and other minerals that they need in this new growth phase. Your baby's digestive system and kidneys are more developed and able to handle a formula with increased nutrients. At the same time as beginning to eat solid foods, your baby will be ready to step up to a follow-on formula. While breast milk is best, Karicare Follow-On Formulas are nutritionally complete and have been designed to meet the dietary needs of bottle-fed babies from 6 months of age. Karicare Follow-On Formulas contain more calcium, iron and protein than infant formulas to meet the growing needs of your toddler.
Ingredients:
**1 scoop = 8.2g of powder. NOTE: 1 scoop of powder
added to 50mL of water yields approximately 56mL of formula.
Back To Top Milk is an
important food for toddlers and preschoolers. It supplies protein and calcium
and is a rich source of other essential nutrients like zinc and vitamins A and
B. Standard cows' milk, however, contains only traces of iron and very little
Vitamin C. Research has shown 1 in 3 Australian toddlers to be iron deficient
and around 24% of New Zealand's toddlers to be the same. Too little iron can
lead to tiredness and irritability as well as lowered resistance to infection
and reduced concentration and learning ability.
Ingredients: **1 scoop = 9.7g
of powder. NOTE: 1 scoop of powder added to 50mL of water yields 58mL of
formula. Prepare each bottle separately.
For all brands of formula, it is safer to use immediately after they are
prepared.
