as soft, cloth-like outer cover,
stretchy side leakage guards, re-fastenable
grip tabs and all this is combined with a
biodegradable acquisition layer that quickly
shifts the urine away from the babys
bottom.
Biodegradability
BabyLove EcoBots are the only disposable
nappy endorsed by Planet Ark and are more
than 2/3 biodegradable. They
have the potential to significantly reduce
the amount of non-biodegradable material in
landfill. Because many of the nappys
components are derived from renewable
plant-based resources replacing the
petroleum-based plastics used in traditional
nappies they create positive outcomes for
the environment during manufacture, as well
as in use.

EcoBots use biodegradable wood pulp derived from renewable
plantation sources.
Non-biodegradable components have been deliberately minimised to
provide a highly compostable nappy. The biodegradable
components are based on modified corn
(maize) starch. Corn starch is a natural
material which is 100% biodegradable when
exposed to the natural environment.
The corn starch components that breakdown
have been developed according to a European
Composting standard EN13432, this means 90%
of the material must fully breakdown after 6
months in a composting environment.The corn
